Get a Domain NameThere is no excuse for a company with a website to not have a proper domain name. Registering a domain name shows you understand the internet, are a savvy, modern company with the resources to do things right. Nothing says "I'm a really small business that's barely getting by." better than using a free website hosting service like Geocities or Angelfire. What should you look for in a domain name? Simplicity and Relevancy. Look at names like "Yahoo" or "Amazon". Easy names to remember and pass along by word of mouth are good choices. Now, keep in mind that Yahoo and Amazon have the dollars to pound their brands into your brain. If you can't get simple, try to keep it relevant. You'll notice our domain name is relatively long - 17 characters plus the www and com. However, it's our company name AND it says what we're all about, so we're happy with it.
