Andrea Hebert is an Occupational Therapist who graduated from the University of Toronto with honours in 1991. She has over 16 years of practice in Occupational Therapy, mostly in the area of orthopaedics and hand rehabilitation. She received her hypnosis training in February 2008 and am a certified hypnotist with the National Guild of Hypnotists. She is also currently studying psychology at Brock University.
She has a great deal of experience working with people experiencing pain and stress and believes hypnosis is a valuable tool which can be used to help reduce and sometimes even elimiate pain, both acute and chronic. It can also be used to change nervous habits and reduce or eliminate phobias. She also teaches self-hypnosis as a tool you can learn to use at home to become more in control of your own state and responses to pain and stress.
